Ive recently been offered another Job, which im quite chuffed about. However Ive got a teensy bit of a problem, this is the only permenant job ive ever had - everything else (also with Royal Mail :p ) has been summer work etc.. so I dont actually know how to quit a job!
Obviously Id love to just wander in, tell them where to go and bugger off home! But thats probably not the right thing to do, do I have to do it in writing etc? Hopefully someone here will know :D

Re: How to leave?
I did that from a call centre - went to the boss and said I am leaving - they asked for 4 weeks written notice which I gave them. Nothing fancy just a headed letter with your address on it saying "I regret to inform you that .............................. ".dawatticus wrote:Ive recently been offered another Job, which im quite chuffed about. anyway the best way to do it is to verbally insult him until he suspends you on full pay then just go to your other job (I'm sure Tommo would be able to give hints on what to say
