RM need to decide if they are going to keep/build the super hubs or keep the PSMs in MCs as it doesn't make any sense having both, unless they are somehow considering doing walk sorting of packets in MCs

Is there even time as well as manpower to do individual walk sorting instead of postcode area?
How many extra yorks will that entail as well as the added transport needed

If they arrived in batches I'm guessing it'd be possible, the main time taken would be clearing down the machine between batches. I've no idea how many staff are meant to be on a PSM. There's two different types of PSM in use (excluding the super-hubs and HWDC), so the required staffing levels might not be the same everywhere

Two York loaders
Two Feeders plus one bag opener feeder
One either side of the machine changing York's when full

So six in total?

How have Ricky McAulay and Simon Thompson still got jobs, they are the reason why the company is losing 'a million £ a day'.

If they go down the route they are taking they should be getting fined millions of £ after millions of £ for purposefully failing the USO. So how is that going to solve anything?

Let's face it, the people in charge of Royal Mail are not capable of running a successful business and not capable of delivering the public service USO.

They think they need change. The public and the workforce need change! a change of people at the top of the business and the government to step in and take the service away from these imbeciles.

I think we should all read Rambo1's post including the board. I think he is correct in nearly everything he said.

Does this c… think that we don’t think everything that comes out of his mouth isn’t lies and b…s… it takes some level of narcissism to think things are going well during this utter mess, the boardroom is clearly just an echo chamber of horse piss ideas

It's strange how National Express driver's got a 16% pay rise after only 1 week of striking and we can't get a good rise after about 7 months. They did strike for continuous 5 day's though. Maybe the union should try it out.
Totally agree.

How many employees are there in National Express?

Look at the RMT, they might have thousands of members but fragmented into many individual train company employers

Is that even the case?

GLS doesn't suddenly fail because RM hand back the USO to the government.

If IDS don't have the liability of RM on their books surely that boosts the share price.
