Message from Ricky McAulay: CWU talks update
After 11 months of talks, making numerous improvements to our offer based on CWU feedback, and mediated talks by Acas and Sir Brendan Barber, we are deeply concerned that we have yet to reach an agreement.
The CWU has issued an update this evening saying that if an agreement is not reached early next week, then strike action will be called. If the CWU persists with further strike action, this would only serve to threaten your job security and make our pay offer unaffordable.
We have been clear throughout the dispute that significant transformation of our network and working practices is essential for the business to survive.
It is not sustainable for the business to be losing more than £1 million a day. Change cannot continue to be delayed.
We remain committed to getting the right deal, which secures the future of Royal Mail and its workforce.
We will keep you updated next week.

RMCtv : Message from Ricky McAulay: CWU talks update
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Well considering even the CWU has confirmed Royal Mail is in dire financial straits losing a million a day, guess that makes them spreading the same old BS as well?

Hey Ricky, strikes are coming.
Are you ready with your war chest?
Ready to blame all the company's ills on the postmen striking?
Remember it's 'Our Company to run,'
Into the ground.

Why haven’t you come up with a decent deal in 11 months. It’s as much your fault as it’s the c w u. You can’t blame the workforce. We don’t sit in on your talks. If the company is in such dire straights it’s up to you to come to a an acceptable compromise. Or perhaps you don’t want to.

You won't have a company to run for much longer if you keep pushing posties over the edge.
Stop these absurd changes that are clearly not working and actually have serious talks on how to advert the animosity within the workplaces.
