Individual performance blamed !!
So today me and my van partner were taken into the office ( every else has as well ) and told that as from next week individual performances will be reviewed as this is the reason why deliveries aren’t getting finished. After picking myself up from the floor from laughter I asked the Com to gladly check are individual performance ( indoor work ) and when it’s found not to be the issue but the 45+ minutes added on doing are large parcels or the 35 minutes lapsing ( sorry they don’t call it that anymore..lol ) or the 10+ collections we have to collect on a daily basis and finally the 1350 delivery points we have “ IS THE ISSUE, NOT US “ will that get addressed ?
Safe to say he didn’t have a response to that, just trying to grind you down on a daily basis.
B&H starting to rear it’s ugly head, me thinks.

Everyone should be out the door for 09.20, we don’t start till 08.00 tomorrow and our 20 minute break is at 09.00. So that gives you 1 hour to sort mail / packets, then sort mail, prep delivery duty, scan tracked in, sort out lapse, basically impossible.

Also get all the added free time being worked

What do they think they can possibly achieve by coming up with these moronic attacks on the delivery staff,who are these outside advisors who are steering them in this direction, if this type of behaviour is going to become the norm,with no doubt plans to demoralise the staff even more we may as well all give up and let this company crumble,I for one could not live with myself if I had to endure these attacks on a regular basis,it's going to end with all out war

Imagine going in to work thinking your not the best and your best is not good enough from the higher anarchy. Interrogation every day will just grind people down, and lead them to suicide, unfortunately that's what happened many years ago to a neighbouring office. Where are royal mails morals?

CALL THE STRIKES NOW !!!!!!!! how much more s**t do we have to put up with before our so called union who are supposed to be there to protect us from all this bullying and harassment actually going to start to act ,absolute disgraceful.

If they call you in to the office again, sit down and ask them to tell you the performance targets expected for each aspect of your work and if you can’t do it ask for it in writing and that you would need to be shown how it’s possible. In addition to this, start a timer from the moment you are asked to go in and until the time you leave. You can then advise them that you will have even less time than the day before. Good luck and always stand your ground

I have a feeling it’s going to get nasty with the B&H soon with these impossible targets. The managers are already stressing about and it will be passed down to us , I’ve built a thick skin over the years and know how to deal with them but I’ve seen others crumble and end up going long term sick on mental health grounds, some never returning to work.
