Bosses today told us the revision that was put back a week last week will now be implemented next Monday,still not agreed with the union ,wtf is going on,stop playing with my melons man,god help us all neither side have a scooby doo wtf is going on.

Many firms have converted line managers into "Team Leaders" who do the same work as everyone else but also have a few admin/management tasks as well

They would get rid of way more staff than that maybe it would be OK for the first year or two but they would just thin it down even more for profit they're trying to shrink the whole business the uso is keeping jobs for the moment.

weve got upto 20 vacacancies in our place and yes we have about 5 or 6 line managers why? only need 3 max but we have more than ever and not enough staff to cover the rounds, instead of these line managers standing around getting paid to talk about their weekends ,they should be getting put on postwalks help us out or something,getting beyond stuipidity the decisions at the top

This morning we had 7 managers sat in their office visibly eating doughnuts by the window with our rep. One manager was on the floor going round the 5 sections making sure things were getting done (he's on a diet, otherwise he'd have been in there with them.)
Why do we need so many managers?! Why is it acceptable for them to do literally nothing?! Why was there only one there when I got back to the DO?! Why is one of the managers that's doing nothing a guy who took a payoff last year and left, and is now boasting of the "bonus" they paid him to return?!

All this talk of wasted money and they chuck it at people who are just taking it for nothing
