Of course we won't get any word until the chocolate hob nobs run out. Maybe they have already, maybe they're onto the rich tea by now so it shouldn't be long now, , unless someone has ordered another pallet of chocolate digestives :nana

Its not in RM business interest to make strike action seem rewarding so its not going to be good imo

They will want it to have seemed futile so that next time around, the enthusiasm for taking action isnt there
If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next

If it isn't backdated to at least £1000 can't see it get accepted...
As long as the union endorse it it will go through mate. Most are tired of this dispute, union will say they are in a hard financial position and this is the best possible deal and people will agree
Will it f**k

We will get absolutely nothing. Why would they give us anything? We have to get real. This is the end, I’ve never seen so many of my work colleagues so down and looking broken. Everyone in my large office is looking to get out. It’s so bad, the trust and morale is unrepairable at my office. I know at least 7 out with stress and some out with aches and pains through walking 75 miles a week. Many out I know will not return. I really don’t know what the picture will look like in a few months.

I'm more concerned with other elements of the dispute than backdated pay, such as the terms and working conditions of the current and future generations

Just to add some cheer. Anyone left will have to go through this all again next time round.

Yup, give it another 6-12 months.

Is anyone seriously expecting a pay rise backdated for a whole year.

Mate works for fd ex, he checked his wage slip this morning and got almost £3000 back pay!! And they didn't even strike!! I for one won't vote through a deal that doesn't include full back pay too April 2022. And I won't be fooled by the cwu putting some spin on it and trying to tell us to accept a few hundred quid because royalmail doesn't have any money!

7% backdated until April 2022 or it’s a no from me.
Then it'll be a no from you then!
It certainly will.
