Any truth in this? If you fail your deliveries you recieve a letter, if you fail to complete the delivery on the 2nd day its conduct and if you fail 3 times you are facing dismissal.
Yes this is true. It is called the line in the sand letter. We have massive walks with 1500 delivery points all hills and long drives. Totally unachievable, the whole office is failing and now been told it’s 3 strikes and out. Mental illness has gone through the roof.we are losing staff every week. The way it’s going hopefully I’ll be there to lock up and turn the lights out.
This can't be true. If managers are doing this, it's as clear a case of bullying and harassment as you'll ever see.

Overtime is voluntary. You simply cannot be dismissed for not wanting to do it.

Probably time people started going off sick, only problem is will they still pay you? Wouldn’t put it past them to stop sick pay.

Well I’m afraid it is true. Ask someone what the line in the sand letter is.

I don't really care though.

They can give me as many bullying letters as they want. They cannot and will not conduct me for not working over my contracted hours.

Nothing to do with working over your hours. You will be told you are not up to the standard required . Check some of the FB comments. There is more regarding this on there

They could have put that out friday they seem to think it is all a game yet the poor members ,some are seriously struggling with mental health due to this .
Well said, someone is going to react badly to a boss in a minute and lose their job because of the failure of all parties involved in this mess.

9% pay rise without back date will be shameful for us, if somebody tell that's a good deal is a ..cking idiot.
I doubt it will even be that much. They clearly aren’t bothered about any pending strike action, so who knows where we go from here.
German postal workers have just voted to accept 11.8% .....16% for delivery posties.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
