An interesting read. For people who chose to have their AVCs protected by "" safe investment "" towards the end of their terms. Government bonds are basically Government debt. And that debt is just going to get bigger as the years go by.

There's nothing new there really.
The bond market crashed back in October after months of warnings that it would.
Many people will have re-thought the lifestyling approach to their pension savings as a result.

Dammed if you do and dammed if you don't. The article is just a dig at Liz Truss but plenty of politicians have screwed pensions.
