Re: 1000 hours
I agree. I was pointing out the madness of RM, putting in revisions that just cant possibly work, having to reverse them and then doing something similar just a few months later. All done by someone who has never even been in the officeheraldmoth wrote: ↑05 Mar 2023, 11:34Revisions mean nothing unless u lose ur job, work your hours at a reasonable rate it’s not worth the stress

Well good luck to them… must be planning on daily handbacks and completely ignoring the USO as is already the case in plenty of offices.

It’s such a back to front way of doing things.

They would not work/involve the CWU either
I guess the majority of us Inc the public will be asking, where is the regulator ofcom in all this?
Given the now common knowledge that the company is woefully failing the USO fast approaching on the scale of biblical

Re: 1000 hours
If the government actually think a 6 day service is important for the country, businesses and the economy as a whole they need to come in and buy this train wreck that is Royal Mail on the cheap.
Royal Mail losing $1million a day because the management at the top are clueless.
Royal Mail are essentially delivering a 5 day service at our office, so they don't care about the USO or what the government says, they will deliver a 5 day service regardless.

We can’t even hail Tracked as a success story because it has been brought in at the expense of delivering everything else except SDs. The board must be thrilled with Tracked but what about EVERYTHING ELSE?!

Re: 1000 hours
Revision gives us 2 duties of 970 and 550 ish (3 walks previous) basically doing 2/3 walks, leaving Tracked and unable to complete d2d. Give RM credit as they're now failing everything, some effort that, definitely worth a bonus at the top. Slowly giving oversize back due to their amazing measuring tools
and relying on their faultless data. Just give up now.

I'm guessing that the COM has suddenly been told by their boss that they either re-implement the revision or they'll get replaced by someone who willpieoftheday wrote: ↑05 Mar 2023, 11:17Our revision was a total failure and had to be reversed, just a few months on and now we have save 1000 hours a week from tomorrow![]()

Re: 1000 hours
Our place is a mess this week. Frames of mail not gone out and managers saying they can’t pay people to cover them due to financial constraints. Can’t wait to see what their deal looks like come Sunday
