A load of old bollocks

It was the CWU that told their reps not to engage in the revision process

Now they are acting like its a win that they are involved again - the whole point of not engaging before was because the revisions werent agreed

So whats changed?

The CWU now agree to the revisions is whats just happened

Appendix to the hand-holding Let's-All-Sing-Together main statement:

At first glance, very few devils in the details.

Same old RM tactic, impose or threaten a ridiculous level of change. Then back down a small amount to achieve the change they want, and the CWU call it a deal.

So if there is no agreement, it will already be over a month into the current strike ballot validity period before any action can be taken. I know I am out now so it doesn't affect me, but RM are just peeing about now and the CWU don't seem to realise.

I hope I'm wrong, but it looks like most of the revisions have just got the CWU stamp of approval.

You cannot all of a sudden rush this through (12th march). The fast paced deadline only means that cwu will be inclined and expected to make many concessions

I feel so positive about this, a joint statement that tells us, basically, nothing.

Puzzles me why so many give credit and support to the cwu still. All they’ve done is cost its members a pile of lost wages due to pointless strikes and yet they’re still trying to spin things like they are making good progress! All the ea changes have taken place in my do and you can be sure these won’t be reversed now. Folk should really think about pulling their subs to the union as the both them and the job are done for unfortunately
