new pension scheme dvd and early voluntary retirement letter

Post by shizsco »

got the "new pension scheme" dvd at wtl session today all staged very nicely by actors and nice easy questions to the 2 pension experts on it. the boys wanted to throw the tv out the window after it. walked down stairs to find we all had received a letter from area manager asking who was looking for a buy down or who wanted to take early voluntary retirerment, due to the fact we have increased automation and improve performance in the future. so pissed off, seriously contemplating £28,000 pay out (which ready reckoner said) and get a new job.

We had ours today as well. Funny how the actors, sorry workers asked their questions in order as well. I guess the consultation period was short because they had to make sure they got the script right.

Oh dear - another reason to panic - not

We were presented with the Oscar winning "Your Pension Has Died" dvd this morning and would like to ask which category should it have been in? The chuckle brothers production made some laugh, some sob hysterically and a few left the room clutching their stomachs. So I suppose it's some sort of fictional tragicomedic horror story with the possibility of some of the participants eventually getting shafted by the company they work for.

I've had a good look at the prospects that automation will bring, including the very badly estimated performance that RM think they will get out of it because they think all offices have the same mail patterns and delivery density. I got a fleeting glimpse of the new delivery vehicles we were getting that have now mysteriously failed their trials. As with most things that are highly publicised in this business, the aroma of bullshit pervades the air around them.

I've also costed my life expenses out and looked at the pension offer and other jobs available. And after all that I think I will just stay where I am and be a pain in the arse to all concerned but particularly RM. Are you with me boys and girls???????????

Yep we had that Oscar winning production by RM pensions. I'M surprised Crozier and Leighton weren't in this movie.
Actually the best question was the last one "Stage Two of our Pension plans". Get ready for more lies and robbery by Crozier and co.

Nothing much has come our of our union regarding this robbery.
Are the union selling us down the river regards to our pensions too :mad :mad

The only goodish question was something like - what about phase 2, and it was most certainly not a resounding NO, so who's to say it wont all disappear yet.
