I propose paying them nothing for 17years,reducing their defined benefits, reducing my contribution to interest payments, and ending the term 5 years early with of course a 5% reduction of the principal sum borrowed for each of those years.
No change is not an option.
In an increasingly competetive labour market it is essential that this financial burden is reduced for me to maintain my market position and thus ensure the long term health and viability of my mortgage fund.
I look forward to their response :nervous
Dear Mr B. Elial,

Is your name Allan Leighton? No? Then f**k off & make with the payments.....or it's a trip to the beak to fight a repo order & you will lose - so pay up, or piss off!

Yours sincerely

Well if everyone did it the currant houseing situation would not be a viable market and most of those lucky enough to own such property would have to review their position as to is a house a home or an investment?.

All i would say is that if this was the case in the first place who would be in hock!. For the market has been driven by fear and one and all should borrow beyond ones mean's and this is where we are now!.

The only winners from Royal Mail striking is our competitors!
Wake up and smell the roses mate. The only reason that competitors are taking chunks of our work is because, we have, a management team in place that as no understanding of our business and also a regulator thats, got it all wrong. which has allowed us to be, opened up to competition. 1 too early and 2. too cheap.

So if your happy to have your terms and conditions changed because the knobs at the top don't know our business ,then we have lost any chancne of ever having a job that will allow us to have a normal standard of living and the ability to retire at an reasonable age. Also I think that we should all remember, that it's our job today but should be a job for the future.

Sandyman wrote:Always have, always will. BUT, CWU members will, in future, have serious reservations where the National leadership are concerned. We had Lameton and Dozier over a barrel in the last dispute and the CWU leadership let them off the hook. This, like it or not has seriously affected grass roots opinion of our Union's leadership. Capitulating to the deal we ended up with, and not even daring to challenge Gordon Brown's backing of RM's fat cats' actions with removal of Union funding from Labour spoke volumes as to who's side Hayes and Ward were on - Labour party appeasement or the membership? - they chose the party.

This will not be forgotten.
