Our re-pick starts tomorrow. We were told that anyone who fails to get a duty for whatever reason (lack of skill/unable to work certain hours) will be put into a "surplus pile" Once you are in this group they will discuss various options inc moving to another mail centre, hub or going on deliveries.

It's an absolute farce at our mail centre. The shift manager doesn't even know how many new duties there are compared with how many people work on the shift, every question he was asked in our WTL session had the same answer "I don't know"
