People who have it the worst are the one's recently joined, they don't know how good the job used to be though so it's the norm for them.

40 full time duties have been removed. Anyone’s who’s duties haven’t been changed will keep their duties.
We have been told, those of us who’s duties have changed will get to pick what is available except for the 40+ surplus who won’t have a duty to pick.
They will be offered part time role, vr or relocation to another office within .15 mile radius.
Seniority is only being done out of those who have to pick a job.
So if your 3 years in service and your duty does not change,you get to keep your job.
If your 30 years in service and your job changes and there is nothing to pick, you will be relocated.
How is this fair

MC or DO? If it's the MC, why can't the 40 displaced people be moved to other shifts (which shift is losing the duties if its the MC)?

Why have they not done a full MC resign of ALL remaning duties based on seniority ?

Days are losing the duties and nights duties are not changing so those jobs won’t be available to pick

Re-signs in MCs normally get done by shift on seniority, I believe that pay protection always plays a part

Sadly doesn't work like that for me. My DO is a sub with no managers and no spare vans. There is a bigger DO closer to my home so they expect me and others to go there whenever we are spare, and at a drop of a hat.

You need to insist on them providing you with transport to the other DO as you won't be covered on your car insurance which will be to and from your REGULAR place of work. To travel to another DO you'd need business use insurance

They pay travel allowance (sometimes) so had to get business insurance for that.
