probably only have two 3 seater vans in the whole of our large office.

I've gone out in a 3 before and it doesn't work as you typically park halfway down a road and 1 postie does one end and the other postie does the other end.....where do you send the 3rd postie?

Then as the other geezer said - you now have to wait around for another postie if they are behind.

Then - your van-share round will be longer and you'd have to cut off to deliver any specials later in the round.


Doesn't make any sense. Even van-share doesn't make much sense as it is probably 20 minutes+ slower than going out in your own vans.

Best get your trolleys out of the bin, it'll be 2 walkers and one packet man. You'll need your trolly to carry 2 bags/loops so the driver doesn't have come and drop off loops every 25 minutes

Frank will be doing parcels on his own while you're pulling your trolly some in our office did it for a while after our revision went pear shaped, it wasn't nice. Even in a new 3 seater it's cramped and when all 3 are soaked through its far from pleasant

This happens everyday in our office, they pick a walk that’s been failing & building up in the frame & send the normal crew out with a spare in the three seater, the driver does packets, the other two get loaded up with mail & trollies, they still sometimes bring back loops, the Lino goes crackers
