99.9% of insurance only covers travel to a single place of work. If you travel to .ore then one office you would need business cover added on which with a family member getting business only cost about another £20 for the year. But obviously doesnt take unto account addtional wear and tear on the car and potential parking fees.
No transport provided, no working in another office as far as I'm concerned!

My insurance certificate wording is "Social, domestic and pleasure purposes, including commuting to A PERMANENT place of work". So, if I was going to another place of work, basically I wouldn't be insured. Be warned, insurance companies only need a whiff not to pay out!

Sounds like they’re trying to force PT staff to quit.

Some people choose to be PT and don't want any OT believe it or not.

Would be great for a few years before retiring handing back most days and telling the managers where to stick their lapsing.

That’s pretty much where I’m at, 28 hour contract over 4 days, I don’t work a minute over. Goodwill disappeared a while back.

I can’t speak for other DOs, here we just have 1 in 4, and 4 day weeks here. I asked a manager if they plan on getting rid of 4 day weeks, she said not this time round but it’s on the agenda for the next negotiations (in her words ‘which will probably be in a couple of years’).

So how many hours a day are you working and what time are RM saying your start time will be in the future?

No early starts for PTers even if there's 2 on a double duty.
SA down to 3 days a week
Overtime only being offered to FT staff
Collection routes consolidated into a couple of massive ones, callers office staff being asked to do them

Additionally revisions happening "within a few weeks," and all staff have been told that as of march 1st our start and finish times are an hour later. Our rep says that's just the stuff they're telling us about

Isn't it illegal to treat PT staff different to FT staff?

The clock in and out system was already in round October time but idiots still are coming in for f**k all and therefore coming back way, either sat down for an hour round the machine while everyone else is finishing near their time or not clocking out at all thinking they are beating the system. Now, they've turned around and taken walks out the office and lumped them on every walk, even the ones that struggle to finish on their times regularly. And, even now you still have them coming in early for nothing and making jokes about it.

Just been told I've lost my duty as its going part time there is no duty for me in the job 25 years I've I've also lost my rotating day off and will become a reserve a new start has been given my duty and rotate and I've time traveled back to 1998 when I first started.

They're going to lapse 3 walks out of 20, no revision, lapsing to be done first. They know it's unachievable.

We had a repick a few months ago, management informed us which of the duties would end up as lapsing duties all the time before we picked so there wouldnt be any surprises, which was nice

Sounds like our place that absolute farce. All the oversize duties have gone this putting all the guys as a reserve, people with 25+ years in now a reserve, they have kept their rotating day off though after kicking up a fuss.

Rumour also is all the VR's in March, all the duties will go from F/T to P/T totally unacceptable and I believe a local disagreement has/will go in.
