ROYAL MAIL PENSION PLAN - THE COMPANY'S DECISION

Post by TrueBlueTerrier »

Looks like another Royal Mail form of consultation when they ask for views and then either highlight the ones that tend to agree with them, or ignore them totally. At least that's the impression I get reading their letter.

How can you call it a compromise when they bring forward the age 65 retiring age forward 2 more years than they orginally said they would. :evil/mad :speak to the hand

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

We need industrial action from all levels now, its time to stop pissing about and show this stupid company and the government how destructive they are being.

All new employees must have worked for 12 months before they can pay in? what on a 20hr contract???, can they afford it??? i don't think so, most new starters will leave within 12 months and so will never pay in
and this is infact another stupid ploy by this management to change the pension.

Low pay contracts / increase in staff turnover = not enough money going in to the pension pot!!!

!!! EVERYBODY OUT !!!

ever since we got shafted with that sxxx deal from the CWU most posties have lost faith in the CWU as a rule.im just working from day to day rather than enjoying the crack as it was years ago. What fight can you put up when you have fellow workers coming in early unpaid, going over and not booking and rushing around like the world is gonna end. With workers like that it doesnt take RM much to realise they can take back the one good thing RM provides........the pension.

Shame

Read the letter found it the usual RM claptrap
Interesting that they are increasing our life insurance from 3times salary to 4
The way we are being treated this could cost them a hell of a lot :lfo :cfo
