Sorry when I said "overtime offered to FT only" what I meant was "overtime doled out on basis of seniority, meaning only those who've been here long enough to have FT contracts are getting any, and have happily signed up for the next 2 weeks worth"

we have to vote YES, to keep the pressure on but, the idea that S.T is working on his own agenda against the board's wishes is absurd. Who changed the terms of his contract? Surely the board = major shareholders or representatives.
I didn't say s.t. is going against the board. I've argued the same point in past posts that the board & s.t. are on the same page. They might of instructed him to do it lol

I was saying he should go cause it would likely damage their agenda & would be great to remove the whole board but realistically ain't gonna happen, so the frontman should go.

Can imagine there's whispers from the board behind Thompson's back about him probably having to go. That MP's committee embarrassed Thompson & damaged the trust factor between employees & Ceo. Would be amazed if he ain't gone by the end of the year.

The job is still doomed regardless. Give them a hard time with a Yes vote though.

32 walks coming out and absorbed.
The 32 walkholders to be bounced around from week to week in the short term.
New bigger frames unmanageable but that doesn't matter to them, it's not like the mail needs to be thrown in or delivered every day.
Staff being loaned to smaller units in bigger numbers.
Dont forget if you are loaned to another unit your start and finish time is at your unit and also unless your vehicle insurance states otherwise you are usually only insured to and back from one place of work, so you'll need a work van or a lift in one
Do you mean you need to take a van from your office because you won’t be insured for the vans at the other office?

I mean you shouldn't use your own vehicle to go to a different office than the one you are based at unless you have the correct insurance. Most fully comp insurance will be social domestic and pleasure and To and From One place of work. So RM will have to sort transport for you

Right, well unless they have business insurance they're very likely uninsured, a bump or getting pulled by cops could result in their car being taken away and 6 points . I had to check this in lock down with my insurance company so I could use my own vehicle in work time

Sounds like they’re trying to force PT staff to quit.
Some people choose to be PT and don't want any OT believe it or not.
Would be great for a few years before retiring handing back most days and telling the managers where to stick their lapsing.

Your welcome, it's worth checking your policy ,if an Insurance Company can get out of paying a claim they will and whilst there doesn't seem to be many cops about these days they would definitely have your car away if they stopped you, I can't see RM coming to your aid if that happened

I'll second this, at a previous job a guy was asked to take some work to another site in his own car. Someone went into the side of him on a roundabout (clearly the other driver was at fault) but because he told the police that he was taking things for work at the time the insurance company wouldn't pay out

Exactly.
Always ask for them to provide transport to another office. Preferably a van. Otherwise it will have to a taxi there & back. Back to home DO at finish time. In reality very small delivery span - not really worth it.

99.9% of insurance only covers travel to a single place of work. If you travel to .ore then one office you would need business cover added on which with a family member getting business only cost about another £20 for the year. But obviously doesnt take unto account addtional wear and tear on the car and potential parking fees.
No transport provided, no working in another office as far as I'm concerned!

Absorption just been brought in to our office on a daily basis.

All still on a 38 hour week pending a revision that's been in the planning for over a year?

When the revision is completed apparently that extra hour we have been doing compared to other offices who have completed a revision, will not be backdated in pay?
Union what Union? Do we have a union?
