Revision in few weeks , we’ve had clock in/out since Xmas which I am fine with, it was needed to slow down the runners.

After seeing that union live talk yesterday, it has to be a Yes vote for me. I was thinking what's the point before but Dave & Andy exposed Simon & the board even more last night makes it a no brainer.

They showed that clip of how Simon changed the criteria for how they receive bonuses. Supposed to be based on company performance but they changed it to value given to shareholders. Unbelievable.

Just proves everything the union has said to be correct. Definitely need Thompson out. Vote Yes

we have to vote YES, to keep the pressure on but, the idea that S.T is working on his own agenda against the board's wishes is absurd. Who changed the terms of his contract? Surely the board = major shareholders or representatives.

And so then Ward says he had fruitful talks with some shareholders including major ones, these are some of the same people who changed Thompson's contract AND benefited from that new performance objective ie. awarding dividends to shareholders whenever possible even if detrimental to the company's (and of course employees) well being.

Sounds like the shareholders were just going through the motions when they met with the cwu.

The guys in our office are taking photos as evidence that there is a deliberate attempt by Thompson & his cronies to fail the USO on a daily basis. By taking the photos we will have daily proof of what is going on. All I will say is we have been advised to do this by someone outside of the company who has,as they say got some power! Should be interesting over the next few weeks

Why have managers not twigged that fewer walks, fewer of us, means fewer of them?

The 32 walkholders to be bounced around from week to week in the short term.
New bigger frames unmanageable but that doesn't matter to them, it's not like the mail needs to be thrown in or delivered every day.
Staff being loaned to smaller units in bigger numbers.

Sounds like they’re trying to force PT staff to quit.

Some people choose to be PT and don't want any OT believe it or not.

Would be great for a few years before retiring handing back most days and telling the managers where to stick their lapsing.

10 walks to come out from an office of just above 50 walks. Completely absurd as lots don’t complete on time now. No idea how this is going to work. Feel massively let down by the union as it feels like we have been left out in the Cold after making huge sacrifices before Xmas. I’ll vote yes today but all hope is gone in our office, by the time the ballot closes and we are ready to strike again these revisions will already be in place and as we all know they will not be reversed.

Dont forget if you are loaned to another unit your start and finish time is at your unit and also unless your vehicle insurance states otherwise you are usually only insured to and back from one place of work, so you'll need a work van or a lift in one
