Actually not very keen but would like to know why they are still talking as lots of people on here say ea is continuing in there offices.

Are you suggesting they stop talking? There's been no EA in my office, the proposals have been taken down, the rep is part of the revision now, and one to one's have been suspended. I'm not saying that EA isn't happening, but there are places where it's not. I imagine what's causing the disparity is almost certainly the tactic of using EA to demoralise staff, and push members towards believing all is lost and the game is up. I'm certain it will continue. I doubt very much there will be anything worthy of updating, until the rust of the ballot is release. I can't see any advantage for RM in offering anything remotely acceptable till they know for sure there's a 'Yes' result.

No mention of annualised hours, or sick pay conditions, annualised hours is a massive stumbling block, without that agreed upon . Revisions , in delivery , will fail massively! Taking oversized away from the walks onto dedicated parcel duties and extending the delivery span of our duties , NOT WORKABLE. This is their main target , it will cut the workforce. And there will be no set Finnish time.almost every other aspect of the change of conditions wanted by RM pales in comparison against this.

Exactly,no strings payrise,no sick pay change ,no annualised hours and finally an end to all bullying and harassment and definitely no conduct on pda actuals and you may get my attention to vote for a deal.

I do believe the EA was supposed to stop, I've said why I think it's continuing, and it's very hard to gauge just how much is continuing on anecdotal evidence, from a forum full of anonymous users.

There could be all sorts of reasons for the lack of an update. You can keep asking, but its really just guesses you're gonna get. I'm sure they'll be in touch, they ain't forgot you.

Quite a few people have posted that in their DOs the oversize are going back to the walks

We got our over sized packets back last Monday ( 9/01 ) been told to take everything out and if anything needs to come back it’s mail. We don’t prioritise remember.. ???
Office is on verge of collapse ( mentioned in previous posts aswell ) I get people are going to say “ finished time not changed..” and “ just do your hours “ etc etc etc
But trust me people in our office are on the brink… union no where to be seen, and when people challenge the COM the response is “ put a grievance in, if your that upset” the arrogance of the ****
RM are just bringing everything in.

I still think this is a delaying tactic by RM because local managers have no idea on how to plan and effect any revisions without CWU help. The CWU need to be sceptical about everything that RM says. These talks are quickly becoming irrelevant because local managers are still making decisions against the so called "RM policies" as stated by the CEO to the select committee. There must be some consultancy firm pulling all the strings. The RM senior management aren't very bright and could not have thought of these plans and tactics by themselves.

If you're going to ask questions, you're gonna get opinions. I think it's always worth while to show a bit interest in other people's opinions. I show interest in yours after all.

I've not said anyone is lying. I've said it's hard to gauge how much is happening on anecdotal evidence. Some people may be lying others may not, you simply don't know. Anecdote is not the plural of data. What I'm pointing out is you can't get a full balanced view of what is being said and what is actually being done, based on posts from people you don't know. Surely you understand that.

They have just tried to change our start times - union rep said NO (with advice from the Area Rep) so they stopped it and made us do "lapse" instead. Your reps need to grow some balls !
