Some of us do have pride if nhs letters, important solicitors letters, peoples new debit cards, kids birthday cards ect aren't delivered on time when they are supposed to be when that service has been paid for in good faith.

Exactly.EVERONE is told this and has been for years. Thompson as much as admitted that a sorting frame is a good place to STORE LETTERS. That means NOT delivering them, while the pkts all go. If that's not prioritising pkt over letters what is? 'just concentrate on your pkts, tracked first' is the mantra from any manager and thet don't make this up on the hoof, it's told to them from above. If Thompson wants to keep his job he's gonna have to fire ever office manager and plead ignorant.

A rogue delivery manager that commuted round the country and pinned it up in literally every office and wrote it on most flip charts and whiteboards!!!!

Reality in my office is:

1. Premium products
2. Lapsing

Then parcels. Letters go out as and when they want them to.

The lapsing is usually letters that have been left in for 4 days, plus the parcels.

Comical how Royal Mail deny it.
