What's happening with mail volumes?

Same at our office and not just letter, pkts too. At this rate the ridiculous revisions will look doable........oh hang on a minute.......

Royal Mail are always crying about how they are losing money but yesterday in my mate's MC they had casual staff folding mail bags on £20 per hour . Yet another example of being lead by a tinpot management .

Yet another mate down the pub comment attacking Angard Staff??

The reality being the amount of Angard staff required on any day or night depends on advance traffic forecast on what is coming into the mail centre to be processed that night for delivery. Angard staff are the bare minimum and never stop in bull rings, etc. The last few weeks they have been on the manual letters all night clearing all the Christmas cards rejected from the machines.

Absolutely pathetic comment Redlen. Quite clearly the comment is aimed at management, not casual staff.
I notice on a couple of threads now you are trying to create a wedge between agency and RM staff. It should stop right now.

Busy - Loadsa crap broadband and estate agent shots, plus many cards posted 2 weeks before christmas. Last weeks D2D turning up on thursday, and soon be time for National front, sorry trust mags. Don't forget the only reason RM say's letter volumes are down, is because they only count ones with stamps on.

Good point, 3 lots of addressed D2D and 1 lot of D2Ds. Have a new carve-up addition to our walk and there`s no way we can complete on time, on a daily basis.

We've had no flats in our office for two days. Just been delivering letters and not many parcels. Something's up and there was talk today about they can absorb about 20% of the walks on to other walks.

We all looked at each other and thought no chance (unachievable) unless you have the same mail volumes that we've just experienced over the past couple of days.

Weve had no sequenced mail from jubilee mc for 2 days. Apparently because of the cyber attack! Been really light.
