The CWU will simply repudiate any unofficial action and tell you get back to work. If not, Royal Mail will have no hesitation in taking the CWU to the civil courts for damages under the current industrial climate.

Have no doubt in my mind this is exactly what Simon Thompson is counting on with unofficial action.

The Legal Protections have already expired so no statutory immunity for the employees. Royal Mail can prosecute the CWU in the Civil Courts if they do not repudiate for damages
