doomed pension

Post by jafferpants »

Well guys and gals you will have seen the union letter telling you that the pension consultation has been a sham and rm intend to press on with the original proposals, no suprise to me as i was saying this last year. but here's the worrying part. Ward& hayes are going to campaign effectively gy engaging the public, politicians etc- etc-. Hmmmm now where have i heard that before . Ah yes it preceded last years IA if you remember where we snatched defeat from the jaws of victory, and it gets worse even if you have paid up your 40 year max you will be forced to start contributing to the new scheme unti you have a clocked up 45 years. That even applies to the folk who have not contributed for a year or to where the old scheme was fully paid up. Mind you they are all heart, they say you wont have to pay for the years between the old scheme finishing and the new one starting. :evil/mad

To be honest, what did we all really expect?

With wan*ker Ward and Pie muncher Hayes in charge, nothing was going to happen. We had RM on the ropes and could`ve had it all during the strikes. Now with dumb & dumbest "helping" with the talks on pensions, can you honestly say we will come out of it smelling of roses?

:cfo :lfo <- can anyone make these for hayes and ward?

I made this point as well. When RM announced the start of the post office closures in Scotland, following their 'public consultation' period, I predicted that the same farce would apply to the pensions.
Am I clairvoyant? Can I see into the future? No I can't, but with :lfo & :cfo running things it doesn't take a genius to work out their version of 'consultation'.
Al: Let's pretend that we will actually listen to people during this consultation exercise and take their views and concerns seriously
Adam: And then do what we originally wanted to anyway?
Al: Exactly.
They remind me of those t*****s from the bank adverts.

ps clairvoyant isn't my name, not even at weekends. What sort of name is Voyant! :nana
