WIRRAL residents are waiting "over a week" for their Evri parcels to be delivered, amid the Christmas post delivery chaos.
Evri, along with other delivery couriers have been put under endless amounts of pressure, following Royal Mail strikes.
The next Royal Mail strikes are due to take place on 23 and 24 December - some of the busiest days for pre-Christmas deliveries.
Postal workers belonging to the Communication Workers Union (CWU) also took industrial action on 9, 11, 14 and 15 December.
Across Wirral, people have been waiting more than seven days for their Evri parcels to arrive, with some saying their parcels have been 'lost' or 'stolen' at the depot.
Residents have taken to social media to express their frustration.
One wrote: "Absolute joke of a company. When you try and talk to a human it asks for a longer tracking number than exists so you can't get through to anyone."
Another said: "Mine has been sat in the depot for a week now, there are no contact details on the website."
One added: "I'm currently waiting for seven different deliveries to arrive, dated from 23rd November up until 29th November all on two-day delivery."
A spokesperson for Evri said: "We are sorry that some customers in the local area are experiencing short delays in receiving their parcels.
"This is due to a number of factors including severe weather, Royal Mail strikes and staff shortages.
"Our local team is working hard to address this and to deliver any delayed parcels over the next few days. We thank everyone for their patience and understanding."
