Hopefully they will announce 30th and 31st december,january 4th 5th,10th,11th,19th,20th,25th,26th then we get a 99%yes vote and go again,unless simon resigns or gets sacked and royal mail want to get in the room and have a serious discussion .Ive lost so much now im learning to cope with the 3 day week,so what if i dont have a holiday this year im having one every week

I have striked on all days requested so don't insinuate I crossed a picket line. What I can't do with is narrow minded individuals like you who spout off about all out strikes without any thought or consideration for CWU and non union members with families who are struggling with bills. You call your self a guardian angel but in reality you are a hypocrite and would not know the meaning of the term. It appears the trade union are not taking industrial action during the Christian week festivities which I believe is sensible and practical and will benefit a further period of negotiations before possible further industrial action.

UH isnt xmas eve a christian festivity ,if your a non union member get yourself in it,and i never said an all out strike ,you need to wake up and if your worried about striking or losing money maybe you shouldnt of joined the union,we all know when we sign up that one day the union may call on you,so no i dont feel sorry for you or any other moaning CWU member,if you dont like it your free to leave anytime you want,its not all about you there is a bigger picture here,pick a side and live with it.

Indeed. It's actually quite scarey if you think about it too much. That stuff in support of Brexit is gobsmacking. It's only when I got to the bit about the BBC that I got suspicious and started to think perhaps it's a parody. I really really hope so.

I left the union but have since rejoined in support of industrial action. The reason I left previous was down to inept local representation. Also, I felt the paltry pay deals plus less terms and conditions under the Pullinger stewardship were insulting. Not least the crooked overtime holiday pay agreement that basically froze out a considerable number of employees. I took my case to the tribunal and settled a claim.

I can afford this strike. All out if necessary. My point is others struggle and any future actions should be measured.

im glad you rejoined,but we all have different opinions and are free to choose what ever we believe in,the reason you left is because the union are trying to please everyone so give up on action to get small wins ,you can't have it both ways,in my opinion and only mine i think they should concentrate on the best outcome for our pay and conditions and stop worrying or trying to please everyone,at the end of the day thats what we pay them for and as the old saying goes no pain no gain,if that makes me militant,selfish,obstinate a daily star reader im not really bothered ,forums are for everyone ,and if some people are struggling the union have a hardship fund get them to use it thats what you pay for ,i didnt vote Brexit but excepted it .
