This carries far more mail and solves those "problem" estates in one.
Yes this would do the trick now if we could only get some smart postmen/women to not use their own car's.

Out of interest , a basic model Smart Car has a kerb weight of 750kg and a Gross Weight of 1020kg. That only allows for a load of up to 270kg which includes the weight of the driver ! A 10 stone driver would only be able to carry an additional 206.5kg in the car , and a 15stone driver could only carry an additional 174.25kg (that's just under 11 x 16 kilo mail pouches). Everything would have to be weighed accurately , i.e. the driver and all of the mail , before every journey as if too much weight is carried it would be breaking the law. In the event of an accident , if the car was overloaded , the insurance would be invalidated ! Just think of how much time would be consumed every day by weighing every pouch loaded into the car before it could go out on delivery :left: .

The Kids would love to see you roll up in your Noddy Car on S**t Street on ABSO Estate . Banner across the Road Today, it read " Happy Birthday Nana 30 Today !". Don't think there would be much room for mailbags if Billy Hayes got in one , what with all the pies , cakes from the Catering Wholesalers etc he'd need for sustenance .

I thought you wasn't allowed to carry more then one bag out in any car let alone a smart car.

If the car was that smart then why isn't it doing my job for me, I think I will stick to the bike, might not be smart, might break down every day due to it being sh..e but at least (I can't think how to finish that so answer on a postcard.)
