Thompson is certainly at the lower end of millionaire status and will be paying plenty of tax, Some people are Born into millionaire status, whatever you think of Thompson he worked and put in the hard work to reach his position, companies like Apple which he was in for 2 years and probably forms part of your pension don’t employ just anyone.

He was at Apple for two years....big deal, Morrisons, Honda, Track and Farce, doesn't seem to be able
to stick around at any of these places for too long.

Morrisons - restructure of in store managers (sound familiar) sacked him and went back to the way things were.
Honda - ? Someone here will know.
Track & Trace - how the heck did he get chosen for this? (I hope his name comes up in the current PPE/Covid scandals).

The man has no success in any of the above roles imho.

There is of course his apparent involvement with the high street banks closing branches (again sounds familiar) I read somewhere he was part of the ""team" at HSBC and certainly locally, they were the first to close before all others followed suit.

I'm happy to stand corrected....feel free to fact check and correct as required, as long as it's corrected with fact...obviously.

Maybe we've got him all wrong then! He's just such an imposing figure that people are intimidated by his sheer presence. He doesn't mean to do it...honest.

ME if my union call me out them im out,we have been through this topic before we have a legal ballot till February ,even Thompson hasn't got the balls to sack 115000 employees ,he will bring down the government i doubt the guys we never here about in the Tory boardroom would allow that Thompson would probably disappear .
