Where's the new strike dates?

The ballot runs until 17th Feb so we can strike up until then.

My guess is the union will give it a few weeks, let people rebuild their bank balances a bit, then go again in January if the company are still refusing to negotiate.

But who knows. Personally I'd like to see some dates immediately after Christmas too.

More strikes are not the answer, in fact it could lose us the dispute, CWU need to come up with new tactics in the new year or even better, get an agreement.

Simon won't budge or negotiate.

New tactics needed it's not like the old days them in charge don't care ,a 53 per cent drop in share price and their message is the same .we need to minimise the loss of pay yet give the maximum disruption .I would go down the mental route harassment bullying and take them to court .

A week long strike would make everyone see how much we are needed maybe make the government intervene and St would be under emence pressure.

They went too lightly in these next 2 weeks. Should have done 3 days strike per week minimum. We’re f****d. They’re doing anything they want now ie removing sick pay.

Exactly, looked what happened when the CWU messed up the rolling strikes. It gave them time to catch up and we were back where we started.

I think the timing of the bad weather has just aided the IA no end. Our office is in a mess I have never seen before and it is only going to get worse from tomorrow

We need to up the pressure on Thompson ge doesn't look a well mam. We need to find a point when he ran the 12 billion track and trace what did he do was n egligence involved?if so we should all contact our respective mps demanding more info it's another weapon to crank up .

Yeah because it’s working a treat isn’t it , we are as far away from an agreement as we were at the start , the strikes aren’t working, pointless announcing more right now .The CWU need to reflect and look at new tactics, people are drifting back to work whether we like it or not and I’m not one of them by the way.

Where's the new strike dates for after Christmas? Haven't the CWU got until tomorrow to notify RM about them? Or are they taking they're foot off the gas? Surely it would be best to keep the pressure on?

not the answer why ? , it would be pointless to finish any i/a on the 24th Dec when we have live ballots till Jan 13th or whatever it is , as we would clear the back log by time the new ballot would kick in and thompson would put his finger up at us , and in the new ballot they could inc a work to rule which would f**k them even more , but we need to keep the pressure on before this .

Hopefully they will announce 30th and 31st december,january 4th 5th,10th,11th,19th,20th,25th,26th then we get a 99%yes vote and go again,unless simon resigns or gets sacked and royal mail want to get in the room and have a serious discussion .Ive lost so much now im learning to cope with the 3 day week,so what if i dont have a holiday this year im having one every week

They don’t care about backlogs they have already seen off Black Friday, cyber Monday and are prepared to see out Xmas , they are also in it for the long game and we’ve been striking since September, don’t tell me it’s working because it isn’t.
