Rubbish

You are aware of the term "Legal Personality" I take it?

Acas decision is binding as a matter of law and has the same effect as a court judgment.

Best stop guessing and provide a credible reference source
They did not have a decision as it was mediation look up the word MEDIDATON that might help you!

To argue with a person that has renounced reason is like trying to administer medicine to the dead

No matter how many times you twist and spin, the law is in black and white

After 12 weeks, you can be dismissed if you take industrial action and your employer has tried to settle the dispute. For example, your employer may bring in advisers from Acas to help find a solution.

Len, unless you think RM are actually going to dismiss 100,000 workers then theres not really much use in continuing to labour your point

They arent going to fire their entire workforce, its as simple as that whether they can or not.
If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next

So why have they not done so then?

We went to ACAS as a dispute arbiter not a begging bowl for managers to tell us the law of the land if you don't like my answers go find the answers yourself as you must be blind or bilkinked to all answers on here.

The employer has not made serious attempts to resolve the dispute.

"Best and FINAL offer" they said.

Now where in the mediation process with ACAS does it state Binding Arbitration is a condition of a reballot under the TULRCA 1992?

ACAS has no statutory powes to impose such terms

Now are the CWU going to answer the question members really want an answer as we are talking a two week deadline rather than playing Russian Roulette with their jobs?
You’ve had the same question answered on here loads of times. They won’t sack 115,000 posties! Chill out man. We’ve never had such a relaxing time😎🍺🍺❤️

I don’t think they will re-ballot as there won’t be support for strikes in the new year. People have lost enough money already and if RM hold out till Christmas it will be pointless losing any more.
omg here she is again ! i bet any money you have been scabbing ?

Nope. But I will be after Christmas. If you want to continue to lose money while change is rammed through anyway, through executive action, you fill your boots :thumbup

The ballot for industrial action ends after six month

The legal protections after 12 weeks due to ACAS involvement, not six months

So after 12 weeks you need a new ballot as Royal Mail instigated the services of ACAS with continuing those legal protections for another three months.
I ask you again what are your qualifications in employment law? I will check what you reply - if you do - and try to validate your statement above.

Do you think that the union will roll over? If they did, delivery staff will find themselves still out delivering after dark, potentially quite late and they'll have to deliver everything without the option of being able to cut off

CWU we now need the 28th and 29th as strike day's. Xmas week in our place anyway is usually rammed and if we are off 23rd and 24th would create a real problem for RM. Most people won't want to work their day off Friday Or Saturday during xmas week and only the saddest will stay out and clear after finish time. Potential for maximum disruption.
yes to right we need to or even just 1 of them days would cause more problems for them and then a few days in Jan :thumbup , i just hope we just dont strike 23rd - 24th and then wait till they have run another ballot as then it would have all been a waste of time for us and the CWU , as our mangers have told us that THERE revisions will just be slung in our orrifice in Jan by EA :evil/mad , maybe Martin walsh can give us some info on anymore planned strike days ?

And the current change ballot can be used to strike until 17th Feb
Yep just in time so the postal backlog will be cleared and this dispute is not about backlogs but a change in attitudes of the employer we will keep on fighting forever. Even if we get over the line another hurdle will be placed before us and it is an ongoing struggle for our rights not just as postal workers but as citizens of the nation and the world!
Backlog, what backlog? I had a mobile SIM card come in 2 days, just ordinary 1st class, not tracked. Office not as busy as normal early December. I'd say between those working overtime and days off and the agency, the strikes have made bugger all difference.
Seriously have a look at some of the mc's online absolutely rammed with mail an there is no backlog. if strike was called off right now can honestly say my mc would struggle to clear before christmas.
Not disputing what you say but how do you explain a sim card getting to me in 2 days just ordinary 1st class. I was bit amazed myself.

Never read in that deal that you can't cut off. Show me.
