I don’t think they will re-ballot as there won’t be support for strikes in the new year. People have lost enough money already and if RM hold out till Christmas it will be pointless losing any more.

Always stated the three days rolling strikes were the best option and proven to work. That way only lost a days pay a week.

The problem being certain CWU Branches are incapable of keeping branch membership details up to date, and Royal Mail know that hence the threats of injunctions.

CWU we now need the 28th and 29th as strike day's. Xmas week in our place anyway is usually rammed and if we are off 23rd and 24th would create a real problem for RM. Most people won't want to work their day off Friday Or Saturday during xmas week and only the saddest will stay out and clear after finish time. Potential for maximum disruption.

There can be no new strikes dates after the 23 December as the legal protections have ended. You need a new ballot. That is in in January. It takes about six weeks to instigate new strike dates from a fresh ballot.

Looking at the end of February at the earliest for the next walk out

These new ballots processes should have been put into place four weeks ago

February?
Wow.
I thought the terms and condition ballot ended after that?

If it’s February ST will just ignore them and focus on the April pay deal. He’s already said as much.

Of course there can, the ballots for IA are still valid as per the very first post on this thread, the first expires in January.

However it is possible (not probable) that employees might not have the 'legal protections' you refer to at an ET tribunal for unfair dismissal
12 weeks after attempts by the employer to resolve the situation (for example through ACAS) if they were to be dismissed.
You actually know this. That is what you have been pointing out in numerous posts.. It doesn't stop new strike dates
being announced up until the ballot(s) expire. 'Legal protections' and new strike dates are two separate things.

The ballot for industrial action ends after six month

The legal protections after 12 weeks due to ACAS involvement, not six months

So after 12 weeks you need a new ballot as Royal Mail instigated the services of ACAS with continuing those legal protections for another three months.

And where does it state in the TULRCA 1992 it has to be binding arbitration??

Have asked this three times now yet you continue to post without a reference source besides your own erroneous personal opinions?

It was not a binding arbitration ie the government needs to do this and since we as a private company do do not fall under this legislation as what third party is there to instigate binding arbitration? None so that is your answer

Rubbish

You are aware of the term "Legal Personality" I take it?

Acas decision is binding as a matter of law and has the same effect as a court judgment.

Best stop guessing and provide a credible reference source
