Will ask for the second time
Where does it state in the TULRCA 1992 that when an employer enters the dispiute resolution process, it then cancels out the 12 week obligation with legal protections.
As in section/sub section of the statutory act?
For the record ACAS has no statutory powers to take precedent over Parliament being advisory.

Why are the CWU representatives being deliverately evasive?
Any industrial action that is in breach of TULRCA 1992 will not be protected, and will be unlawful. Unprotected industrial action can be action endorsed by a trade union, in which some members of that union are taking part, or unofficial industrial action.

I dont even remember if we have given official notice of the 23 and 24 strikes

I suspect that redlen works for RM in HR (not a postie) in a very junior position and is not particularly good at her job, but she considers herself an expert in all HR matters having attended a couple of training courses.timbo1234 wrote: ↑09 Dec 2022, 19:12Are you an expert on employment law? You can tell when the employer is in deep s**t they post people out in the field ie offices and on the media and now on here to spout their own crap about the validity of ballots our engagement with a dispute counselling service ACAS and make it up as they go along.
It is not incumbent on me to disprove the inaccuracies in one person's actions or delusions in this very thread but I hint it is not just ME who finds this whole episode a diatribe of negativity and thus another distraction of the real battle we all face.

Yes it is a given option, suspension that is.
So is the option of all those employees, who knowing that they are facing disciplinary action for striking going off sick enmasse with stress. Even if only 50,000 went off sick, that's still a lot of agency to cover for upto 3 months at short notice while ET action takes place.
The advanced shitshow that this has the potential to create would be eyewatering for RM.

They are used to losing millions ie £758 million to losing £1 million a day some say bad luck a change in posting habits and others say gross mismanagement of the whole organization!parforthewalk wrote: ↑09 Dec 2022, 19:30Yes it is a given option, suspension that is.

Re: LTB 488/22 Ballot expiry dates and new ballots :
i know our last strike days are the 23rd Dec and 24th Dec , so will the CWU be giving more strike dates into the new year ? to increase more pressure on the company and not waste any ballot dates if the previous ballots are still live till the 19th Jan and 17th Feb and they are looking to start a new ballot on the 13th Jan .

They need to start the ballot process earlier as them timings give a 10 day window when we can't strike and I wouldn't put it past RM to whack in a load of EA during them 10 days

Re: LTB 488/22 Ballot expiry dates and new ballots :
I don’t think they will re-ballot as there won’t be support for strikes in the new year. People have lost enough money already and if RM hold out till Christmas it will be pointless losing any more.
