Whilst I always try to judge the validity of a story by the content of it, rather than just dismissing it because the source doesn't sit on my side of politics like so many do, the Daily Express is pretty bat s**t. Far right is a label thrown around like confetti nowadays, but it must be pretty close.

Thompson has been brought in to do the very job he's currently doing, dismantling the company and smashing the workforce. I fear we're being naive if we think he's going anywhere. I remember people celebrating when Rico got the bullet, but statement the company put out about that made clear he was fired because we hadn't modernised enough. This has been inevitable ever since, with only Covid slowing down the process. I genuinely fear this is it for many and we're gonna lose this dispute, but am gonna continue to strike and try and win it even if I'm not expecting to.

i always thought covid accelerated the we are a parcel company thing.It gave them a free run at parcel only days and the gift of failing mail which never happened before the pandemic.
