About an hour ago I had a knock at the door, a guy in full RM uniform bringing me a tracked packet.

Never seen him before.

I resisted him the urge to sarcastically ask him how the strike was going and just sort of went "Yeah, thanks" and closed the door.

Hope it was worth it for him.

Happy to take the packet though instead of refusing it

They lost support in our unit after they shot themselves in the foot by announcing that they want 120 hours pulled out in the next revision which will mean redundancies and even more unachievable workloads. Some of those that crossed last week have now come to their senses and were back out on the line this week.

I saw 3 RM (old blue shirt/grey shorts uniform) in our vans today, all delivering packets on the same street within 10 minutes of each other... Didn't recognise any of them so either from another DO or they're giving casuals the old uniforms to make them look legit

Saw two RM vans in different locations today sitting stationary . One with the driver just sitting scrolling on his phone and the other van parked outside Greggs whilst two who I assume were agency wearing RM high vis jackets were sitting eating breakfast rolls and sipping coffee

No wonder public support is in short supply when you insult workers trying to support their families.

The majority of agency staff i know are long term workers within Royal Mail and do the job just as good as a regular postal employee.
