health and safety need to get involved Friday ,i dont mind losing pay but im not getting injured or at worse death if there's a fire ,if they have to buy a s**t load of gazebos and store it in the car park so be it.

Thing is I don't care anymore thing is he should it his job and a s**t job he has done so far this is the true state of the postal service in our nation! Mr thompson should hang his head in shame for he alone shares this blame in failure of communication and the financials of this so called business.
It is him a lone the word CEO has a responsibility one he has ducked and dived from the buck stops with him!

Most do's haven't got room for their vans any time of year, then add in the extra hire vans(we've got 7). There ain't no room to be storing unprocessed mail they'd be told to take it straight back.

By the time that happens, the space inside the MC will be full and the lorry will just be sent back to the DO. No room outside the MC to have lorries queued up

And I bet not many do's will be doing any divert this year, the managers will be trying to get us to do delivery work never mind MC work

It'll be a case of either they do so or ALL the mech goes manual as we'd have to use our mech areas to sort packets

Sp why da f--k are you so concerned about mech mail im sure delivery posties have stopped caring like most mc staff long ago..

Think you misunderstood me. I'm talking about Friday!! I'm off out on my bike today. Not at work. I'm on strike. Hopefully it's a strike day coz I'm not ready for work lol. !

Anyone know what it's currently like at the RDCs? If they're rammed full then that will have a knock-on affect at every MC on Friday
