Well at least he listened to one customer 'Biscuiteers' who are happy we are going to a 7 day service as 'it's absolutely the right thing to do'...


We have already gone to 7 day parcel deliveries.... so this is not the issue, Simon.

I wonder if Biscuiteers would be happy with the deteriorating service Royal Mail is providing, not because of strikes, but because Thompson understaffs us. Soon Biscuiteers will end up with owner-drivers doing amazon / evri type deliveries.....Mr Biscuiteers biscuits will arrive broken and crumbled.

It annoys me so much every time I watch an interview when the 9% is mentioned. Even when it's Dave Ward being interviewed. The breakdown of what the 9% actually means never comes up. It's just 9%, 9%, 9%. It's not bloody 9% so please let it be known!!! Also Thompson looks as though he's really under pressure in that BBC interview. He just looks as though he's starting to feel the heat. At least I hope so!!!!!

Thompson should have made a commitment for no compulsory redundancies. I reckon that was a big mistake . If he was offering transfers first he would have had a lot more joy . If I remember correctly they used to call it "Bumping"
