It would have been cheaper for Simon Thompson and Royal Mail to have worked with the union and stuck with the original Pathway to Change agreement . If things weren't changing fast enough then management should have just spoken with the union to speed things up . It's in everybody's interest to see Royal Mail be successful . Unfortunately the management we have don't want an agreement and just want to destroying the union .
