The £758 million profit was for the whole business (RM, Parcelforce and GLS) over the whole year.
The £1 million/day loss is for RM in the first 3 months of the financial year.

For me the £758 million figure is still profit that's made by Royal Mail as a whole because they acquired GLS when it was German Parcel
