I've tried to ignore the bickering about name calling, but this thread has been hijacked now. Any serious post is being lost in the bickering over name calling.

Firstly, there's no point posting to say the name calling needs to stop, when it has stopped, you're just restarting it, any halfwit can see that.

Secondly, Simon Thompson isn't rubbing his hands and saying "My plan is working perfectly, they're all calling FilthyBloke names." I'm sorry to say this he couldn't care less about FilthyBloke or anyone calling him.

Thirdly, you can't come on to a Royal Mail forum, on a industrial dispute thread, and gloat about working during the strike action, wearing the managers hi-viz and walking around the beach, and not expect to get a reaction from men and women who are panicking about job losses, and paying bills, over Christmas. There was a 98% yes vote. You're in the minority.

People who work a strike are never going to looked on favourably. It's the union movement that got us paid holidays, paid sick, paid breaks, employment rights, you get the gist. If the sacrifice made by those workers hadn't been made there'd be none. If the sacrifice by us to protect those things isn't made, it's all lost. You have all heard this, and you all know it. If you post on here professing your intention to work the strike, I can see its only for one of three reasons.

1) You're looking for support to justify what you feel bad about.
2) You're trying to demoralise and undermine a striking workforce.
3) You're just a plain old troll who likes being the contrarian, and thinks it funny.

I'd also add, if you're a manager and doing this, just remember, you're 2nd from the bottom, not 2nd from the top. It's gonna get you if we lose.

Manager has already told me he will bring the parcels to me next Wednesday and Thursday.
Will be the same area I deliver to now. 40/50 parcels for a fair days pay. Suits me

What’s most worrying is this seems to suggest an acceptance that next weeks strikes will be going ahead and no effort is being put into solving it. Get the feeling Thompson and Royal Mail are going to ride the next 4 weeks out then they have pretty much won.

Not really,we will just carry on striking like the train drivers and make royal mail unreliable so they lose customers which they will after looking at the state of parcels left on doorsteps by agency drivers.
