Hey, even god loves a trier but what you are asking is a complete overhaul of politics in the UK and Europe and the end of corruption at the top.
It would take more than all the unions getting together to change that. A huge meteor might do the trick.

Hell yeah, you're right. Although the "Arab spring" didn't work out quite like it was meant to for some countries, it showed that when a NATION gets together to make a stand dreams CAN come true and those dreams can spread. Our unions have the collective support of hundreds of thousands, far more than is needed to start a revolution, doubt is the only thing that can hold us back.

I sometimes think that hundreds of thousands of people could make a difference. But not striking or writing letters to MPs or even protesting…. But riots. Burn Downing Street. Burn the House of Lords etc…
Problem with peaceful protests are that it ends up like a slow moving marathon with flag waving and shouting a lot.
250,000 marching towards London with pitchforks would at least get the powers that be out of bed.

Hundreds of thousands can march against something but Direct action is generally the only thing that works. Poll tax riots being a prime example.

We need a complete change, to our working rights, our health care, our terrible outdated laws, and a multitude of other failures that have been exposed and never resolved for decades. In order to do that it needs a spark, our unions if we ALL PULL TOGETHER can create that spark. We need one leader (from CWU, RMT, Unison, Unite FBU, GMB etc) who is willing to stand up and call for revolution involving ALL the unions. We all come out together whether legally or not. There are more of us than there are of them. Let's stop this destructive race to the bottom caused by corporate greed and get people who should be in power, in power.
