packets in the letterboxes

Recently, I've found there are often packet-type items in letterboxes, with a few showing signs of damage where someone has been very determined to force them through the slot into the box. Has anyone else found that there are more packets being stuffed into letter boxes than there used to be?

Id rather that than the used syringes and half eaten carry-outs that i have found :crazy:
