Actually it was the CWU who fracked up all our agreements. The CWU in calling for a ballot with the pay dispute allowed Royal Mail a get out clause with the Agenda for Growth no strike agreement and legal undertakings. Just after that, ST went nuclear with terms and conditions as legally, he could,

The pictures on the picket line frustrate me. I know there are bigger issues here but like you say stupid dances, vids of us on tik tok, happy smiley faces as Gary from # 48 King Rd dishes out brownies etc.....a lot of us are smiling and look happy.

When I look at the photos from the Jarrow March they look determined, purposeful, angry, resilient, they aren’t pulling faces and laughing (and yes I know it’s a completely different era).

I’m not saying we should have a permanent scowl on the picket line but let’s at least look annoyed because of a very real risk of losing our jobs.

I've seen loads of whining on here lately but the fact that we aren't looking miserable enough on the picket line is a new low.

Simon wants us terrified and broken, he wants us miserable.
I think on a personal level it pisses him and his managers off greatly to see us happy and enjoying ourselves outside "his business to run".

We're spending most of our working lives in this management created bubble of fear and uncertainty. Give the guys a break if they want to have a laugh and a joke with their mates/colleagues.

It also encourages more people to join the picket line if it's not just a bunch of "determined" faces constantly talking about how s**t things will be.
