The new pay offer is nothing new, just 18 months now rather than 2 years, still only 7% if we accept everything. That to me is not even acceptable for the no strings pay rise we were balloted on. No Strings that was the mandate.

You have no chance of no strings. Read it, Final Offer. We are not going to get anymore, we will just be wasting money if we strike now.

I never said we would get a no strings payrise but that was the mandate, this is nothing new, just shortened the timeline, we still have all the changes the majority are opposed to.

My red lines are Annualised hours and sick pay. I never go sick but don't want to be penalised because a few play the game and go sick when they are not and I want a finishing time, these are my red lines, sundays and later starts don't bother me but I no longer have small children, other people will have different red lines. The fact is, we gave a mandate for a no strings pay rise and with inflation this 18 month deal is still a pay cut for massive change. No thanks.

sickpay - not so much - i'd rather have the sick pay of course but in the big scheme of things the daily grind of no fixed finish time would mean I'm not going to be staying anyway so the sick pay issue becomes irrelevant

That pay offer would be fine given the circumstances. Little detail on what changes they have backed off on though, vague mention of family friendly hours and we all know how that bullshit works here. Everyone puts in for it and one office favourite gets it and the rest told to f**k off. Honestly they can offer 20% for this year and I would

Parcelforce have to be included, there is no pay rise for PF
They have to get rid of all Agency workers before any redundancy.
NO compulsory redundancies
VR's only as per MTSF's terms.

There were others but these alone will result in rejection and the strikes going ahead,
