The lesson to learn with this dispute is that you cannot run a campaign with click likes and pretty pictures on social media. It has to be done on the ground with the troops.

This whole dispute has been mismanaged from the start with one frac up after another just like the last dispute.

Serious consideration needs to be given in having new elections and have a fresh broom at the top, that includes the PEC as well who are as much use as a turd in a swimming pool.

The CWU are like the British generals in the 1st world war. Charging on horseback with bayonets.... against machine guns.

Some people in my office were starting to get fed up with it all, then ST put out his proposal and now everyone seems up for a fight again.

Lol there is no support for a week long strike. We have people wavering about losing two days pay, and rightly so if they have got families to feed. Striking for a week is also not even guaranteed to bring us any closer to resolution. Remind me how much progress we have made this far into the dispute? We are back to posting pictures on social media and hoping that will do something.

1) it's pretty embarrassing. Some people are clearly not happy having their photo taken for "hands up who dislikes Simon" while others are practically bouncing in the air beaming with pride.
2) some of the pictures look an awful lot like a bunch of people doing a Nazi salute

Royal Mail must commit to prioritising the removal of all agency staff before voluntary redundancies take place and confirm they will not hire new entrants across the business to replace existing workers who decide to take voluntary redundancy.

You say there is, I say there isn’t. Neither of us can prove anything. But I say now, if there isn’t any sign of progress after these next two waves of strikes, I will be considering my position as well.

You only have to listen on union talk ins to know, there's thousands want all out. It's understandable why some don't want all out, that's not rocket science, but I do think the union should/could have done more to organise rolling strikes. In which we could have caused mass disruption while everybody lost only 1 days pay a week. I just don't see how it could be so logistically challenging. Organisation was the key to that, and they would've been f****d in a fortnight.
