Me, I hate doing them so much I'd rather let some one else get the money :evil/mad

One of the ideas they are considering at my DO is to have all D2Ds delivered before Thursday - comments.

as long as they pay more.

we get paid to deliver it over 5 days, cant see what difference it makes to royal fail as long as they get delivered by the specified date.

Hardly when it's from a guy who regularly writes in on behalf of us posties your last comment (fuckoff) was out of order and indicates that you have probably reached a point where working for royal mail is no longer a challenge for your intellect - might I suggest that you go for something more interesting such as a ringer out for a one armed window cleaner

Maybe I'm just being sceptical, but.......if we finish what they give us by Thursday, someone in their ivory tower at Head Office will say that we are underworked the rest of the week. Why not give us more door to doors? Which we will have to do for free because we have already been paid for our quota for the week!
Having said that, I do prefer to get them out of the way on Monday & Tuesday when it's lighter on the mail.

When we often don't get them all till Tuesday and it takes a day to put them all together then there's no chance of delivering them BEFORE Thursday, that's unless they mean Thursday the following week and we do that anyway.

I hate doing them as well, just a thought, why don't they take as many D2Ds as they want, then run a delivery system that delivers them separately from the mail on the last mile, ok you will double your costs but take on a lot more staff and the ability to take as many as they can throw at you [with in reason]

surely a case for the No D2Ds case! and a new revenue stream
