Can we acquire Royal Mail

If we were having this discussion in an amazon forum I'd be all over it but this is royal mail I'd want a safer place for my measly pension.

We all know what happened to BHS pension fund. Self administrred pension fund always depends on company"s performance. Already on last balance sheet there is a deficit in cash balance scheme. Pension with Scottish Widows should be alright.

The RM report and accounts say there is no need for any extra cash injection into the DBCBS. That's because it's a long term thing that needs time to grow – there doesn't have to be enough in the pot to pay everyone's lump sum, all the time!

Considering the pension with Scottish Widows is a Defined Contribution scheme and therefore it's impossible to have a deficit, I can safely say it will be alright.
Although the performance of the investments will obviously impact the individual members.
