If the question is "Do you support a vote of no confidence in Simon Thompson" as per the CWU release isn't that just a hands up on whether a vote should take place rather than a vote itself? Surely the question should be "Raise your hands if you have no confidence in Simon Thompson continuing as CEO"?

The social media side of it is about conveying solidarity, and showing unity.

I agree at this point in the dispute, the time for gestures is over. The CWU need to make a serious stance, go out for a week or more. If the business are going to win, why not make a last stand.

Then again this should have happened 10 years ago before agreeing to being privatised.

Maybe the best way to show our lack of confidence in the CEO would be if everyone took part in the preference exercise for redundancy.
