Barcelona veteran Gerard Pique could be made to walk out at Camp Nou wearing a shirt with his ex, Shakira’s name on it.

According to reports in Spain, Shakira could be the next in line to benefit from Barcelona’s sponsorship with the music streaming platform, Spotify.
The Camp Nou club wore the OVO owl logo on their shirts for Sunday’s El Clasico clash with Real Madrid.
OVO is a clothing brand founded by popular Canadian rapper Drake.

Wonder what would have happened if I had said 'trick'?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

As there is always speculation that senior managers are lurking on here and even more speculation that Daniel is going to launch a takeover bid, can I just put it out there that I wouldn't say no to an invitation to Chateau du Marais.

Surely that would depend on what, or indeed who, you were invited to do whist you're there! :chuckle

Midwit:
Described by Vox Day as "individuals of above average intelligence, yet not too far from average".

Generally found in the 105-120 IQ range. These are the people who are considered "gifted" in primary school and perhaps "honors" in high school. In the same vein, they either think of themselves as "smart but lazy" or perform well in school yet do poorly/mediocre on standardized testing. May attend a low-tier university or none at all. Almost always very online, with strong opinions that lack nuance.

Midwits are truly cursed to be neither blissfully dumb nor reap the benefit of being of superior intelligence or a genius. They can grasp general concepts, but are less capable of digging deeper, understanding nuance, or adapting quickly to complex problems, leading to an entire middle class of perpetually unhappy, often vaguely angry people.

"There is time and time. There's time that moves in straight lines, that is counted in breaths and heartbeats cradles and graves and diminishing days. From this time choose a year any year. 1750 perhaps or 1849 or 1905 or 1938 a year that's gone and will never reappear.

And then there's time that moves in circles, that always is, over and over. That is measured in heat and chill light and dark, in seasons of love and hunger. From this time choose an afternoon a midwinter's afternoon.

The pale sinking sun has failed to thaw the ground. The ragged hedges and bare trees are rimed with white frost. Water is glass, earth is stone, breath is cloud. Night begins to tighten it's hold. Every one of us, living or dead has known this moment.

Now let any one of those lost forgotten years meet this moment. Let the time meet the season & let it be anywhere in England. Cookham Dean, Spennymoor, Marshfield, Middle Rasen, Chiddingfold, Helpston, Overton, Evesham, Symondsbury, Boston Bridge.

Stand back & watch. Listen! It's always the same. Here they come! 7 of them, men & boys tramping the frozen lane a little unsteady on their feet. Cigarettes or clay pipes glowing red against faces that have been blacked with soot and grease. Their hats are stuck all over with wood shavings and shreds of coloured paper, reds, yellows, blues, whites. Their coats and smocks are festooned with bright ribbons and rags, blacks, purples, golds and greens. And wooden swords hang down to their knees like lost gods from some forgotten continent."

Cashews are rich in fibre, low in sugars and contain healthy fats. This combination of nutrients make cashew very likely to reduce the risks of cardiovascular diseases and excessive weight gain.
