Well it is better than arse licking or back stabbing or telling tails on people to climb the greasy pole!

Re: Preference excercise
Apologies, I wasn't trying to wind people up. I have a fairly high level of senority, but I've always thought what a very odd thing it is if you stop and think. Performance counts for nothing and you have to admit that that's just accepted. There is no greasy pole as there's no so-called progression. There's one job and we all do that one same job. And we're all at the mercy of this current onslaught, and as such we need to stop the infighting. Looking after number one, alienating others is all the product of years of individualistic, consumerist, materialistic indoctrination.

They could also re-employ them on the inferior terms.

Think you’re getting confused pal between Workplace and the People App

Re: Preference excercise
What do you all think about this proposal?
I work as part time, I have been waiting for a duty resign for 3 years, now I got my duty but heard that it will be cut and I still have to do other duties and the agency people are doing mine.
I'm angry and for me this offer is good because I want to leave anyway.
I have 4 years of work so it is 8 weeks plus 6k.
Does that mean I'll be chosen?
I've had a lot of injuries in recent years and I'm exhausted from working for RM

Re: Preference excercise
Nobody has a clue how anyone will be chosen, If it was just about getting rid of numbers they could offload anyone who has done less than two years for free so... is it old timers with a lot of years in? That would be the most expensive when you consider new people go for nothing. Maybe they pull names out of a hat. I applied and have no idea, whenever VR has been offered in the past it is office by office if they need to lose people and it has been seniority. If this is seniority then addios boys and girls I am probably out of here if not... oh well.Stryjo wrote: ↑19 Nov 2022, 20:30What do you all think about this proposal?
