CWU should announce strikes for the 28th December (starting at 00:00) through to Friday 30th (ending at 04:00), which would hit the Boxing Day sales
They should announce that on Monday at 5pm.

After all these years I’m ready to fight to the death and I’m convinced now that I’ll be in a new job in 2023 anyway. Nothing is worse than this mental torture. I’ve seen about a dozen long time staff leave my office in the last few months. There’s lots of uncovered walks. No staff and no one in this town wants this low paid over worked job. I wanted to finish my career here but no chance now. Such a shame. Never seen the staff so demoralised. You will never get them to work like they use to.
Well done :Applause Not

Yeah been thinking this for some time now that there's some infiltrators on here, didn't wanna say anything for fear of being accused of shutting down debate, people can say what they want but it gets to me when people say " the union this the union that", we are the union, can't stress this enough, this action was democratically voted for by a landslide majority, personally I think if he carries out his threat then he looks like the failure, the union looks strong standing firm on principle while he looks ineffective, small, weak, a sad little man over compensating for something, it seems every time he says no more money we stand firm and they come back something a bit more

Well said . If the board read this site they won’t bother negotiating as they would think we were ready to fold.

I don't think Simon would last 5 minutes in a room with any of you guys. :chuckle

The problem is not Simon Thomson, it's the fact that the system is rigged against ordinary workers, and makes people like Simon Thomson inevitable.

England needs a revolution!

What a tragic bully he is, negotiation is a co-operative process, done equitably, it takes most if not all of the workforce along with him in the process.

WE WILL NOT BE BULLIED THOMPSON, engage in meaningful talks and give us a fair deal. If not, the goodwill of your workforce will evaporate quicker than the annual leave weeks in August and the resultant consequences will be of your making and yours alone.

Stay proud and stand strong all.
shove it Thompson no one likes a bully will see this through to the end

CWU had no choice when Thompson began playing games, i mean graciously awarded us a 2% payrise from the bottom of his heart to help us out with the cost of living crisis  . That turned the dispute in to the separate pay and change palaver.
